Stay current with 24 CEUs for every 2 year period. If you do not re-certify, you will need to test again to maintain your certification!

Certification Renewal

click here. Do not mail your application by post-for security reasons, scan and send by email to certification@landscapeprofessionals.org

It is the sole responsibility of each LICT professional to save all proof of attendance of CEU approved events for their renewal application every 24 months. The fee for
re-certification is $100 every two years.

Re-certifying Online: NALP now offers the opportunity for LICTs to keep a record of CEUs  and to re-certify on-line.  Note: the NALP fee has increased to $100 every two years.

Here are the steps to take to post your CEUs earned on line and to re-certify online. (Be sure to keep your LICT card that has your ‘good through date’).

Log in to the NALP website: go to www.landscapeprofessionals.org/myaccount
a) If you do not know your credentials, contact Margo Rash at:
margo@landscapeprofessionals.org
b) DO NOT use the forgot username/password feature, notify           Margo instead

Once you are logged in, you can access your profile page by clicking on Hi-‘your name’-
The Profile Page displays your basic contact and membership information
Click on “Certification” tab to view your Program Credentials and to enter your Continuing Education Units
Within Certification, scroll down to view: My Program, Earned credits and the Continuing Education (CEU) sections
*The My Programs section displays your Certification program and its completion date
*The Earned Credits section displays the % of earned continuing education for this renewal period
*The Continuing Education (CEU) section displays your recorded activity
To record a new activity,use the + to open a data entry window
Remember to Save and Close
*NALP will review the activity and Approve

Re certification
When you are ready to re-certify, come back to your Profile>Certification.In the Online Recertification section, use the Click to Re-certify button.

Program Documents
The Program Documents section allows you to download your certification cards or upload supporting documentation for:
*College transcripts
*Pesticide license
^Article, Book and Speaker forms.

Training Centers / Providers of Workshops & Lectures etc.

LICH is the official NALP LICT test provider in the State of Hawaii. Individuals holding NALP certifications must re-certify every two years by reporting 24 CEUs earned. Generally 1 CEU for each hour of class. Workshop organizer should scan the training flyer and registration form and submit to LICH using the form below. Training flyer should have class date, agenda with session times, subject matter and qualifications of instructors. LICH will send the organizer information to NALP which will provide trainer with a sign-in sheet for LICTs to sign. The sign-in sheet will then be returned to NALP (address provided) by the trainer so that NALP can record the CEUs earned for the LICT.

  • Submit training flyer and receive the NALP  CEU approved logo for your event.
  • NALP CEU approved logo on your flyer increases attendance.
  • Benefit from greater number of class participants by free promotion of the LICT CEUs being offered by your class in LICH  website and magazine. The magazine reaches 4,500 magazine subscribers.
